Turkish delegation talks trade cooperation with Iraq

"A large Turkish delegation led by Mr. Yonga Toskai, Turkish State Minster of Economic Relations, arrived in Baghdad on Saturday for a three-day visit. Tonga told reporters during his arrival that the visit aims to attend the inauguration of the Turkish Fair on April 1st and to hold meetings with high-ranking officials in Iraq to discuss ways of promoting cooperation with Iraq," INA reported.
Iraqi Oil Minister Amir Mohammed Rasheed said that this visit comes in the context of visits by senior officials of both countries to develop economic and trade relations speed efforts concerning constructing the pipeline project to supply Turkey with its needs of Iraqi natural gas, INA reported.
Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Hikmat al-Azzawi affirmed the need consolidate trade and economic relations.
