Intensive Libyan contacts on conditions in the Palestinian territories

The secretary of the Libyan people's committee for African Unity Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki on Sunday in Tripoli discussed in telephone calls he made with the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud, the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal and with the secretary general of the Arab League Amre Mousa the grave conditions taking place in the Palestinian territories.
During the telephone calls stress was laid on the need of work to halt the massacres and killing committed by the Israeli army forces against the Palestinian people and threatening the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat. Israeli crimes which are considered an Israeli answer to the Arab peace initiative.
