Three Moroccan educational institutions equipped with Canadian computer labs
Morocco-Canada, Education, 3/29/2002
Two technical high schools in Kenitra (40 km north of Rabat) and the academy of the ministry of national education in the city have been equipped with Canadian computer labs.
The labs were set up during a visit by a delegation of Canadian computer engineers, part of exchange of experience between Morocco and Canada.
The three labs use a computer system that enables connection to internet even with old generation computers.
Similar labs will be set up in twenty other Moroccan high schools, as a first phase of a large-scale Moroccan-Canadian cooperation project in computer sciences.
