Israel launches wide scale attack against the Palestinians

Israel today launched a wide scale attack against the Palestinians that even intruded on the headquarters of president Yasser Arafat. This attack whose coverage will compete with the important results of Arab summit regarding a comprehensive peace and the Iraq-kuwait issue, also falls on the eve of United Nations human rights condemnation of Israel saying the causes of violence and human rights breaches are the Israeli occupation that should end.
Yesterday, three Israeli settlers were killed and other five wounded, four in critical health conditions in an attack carried out by two Palestinian settlers on Thursday evening in "Eilon Moreh" settlement to the north of the West Bank.
The Israeli army admitted that the attack took place while the Israeli TV explained that the two Palestinians who broke into the settlement during the celebration of the Jewish Passover holiday are holing hostages in one of the houses in the settlement.
The Israeli army continued its attacks against the unarmed Palestinians and opened fire randomly at the Palestinian cities and villages and divided Gaza into a three strongly besieged areas.
Detailed news reports said that one Palestinian was killed near Mouraj settlement in Rafah after he was hit by the Israeli bullets, while the Israeli army forces blocked all routes and main crossing linking the cities of Gaza amid opening fire randomly at the Palestinians, especially those who try to cross into the roads. Curfew was imposed on al-Mawassi area in Khan Younis. Col. Khaled Abu Alla the chairman of the Liaison committee in Gaza said that the Israeli army divided Gaza into three military besieged parts, noting that the Israeli tanks are stationed at the military check points which close the cross- roads and prevent citizens even from returning back to their houses.
Meantime, Palestinian sources announced the evacuation of official establishments from its workers of fears of large scale Israeli aggressions, and UNRWA also evacuated its offices in Gaza.
In the West Bank the Israeli tanks fired its shells at the Palestinian villages in Qalandia and the surrounding of Nablus areas.
The Palestinian Intifada youths retaliated by opening fire at Bsaghout settlement to the east of Jerusalem at two positions for the Israeli forces in Ramullah and to the West of Nablus. This resulted in damaging the Israeli firms and armed vehicles.
