Moroccan association for support to Palestinians calls Arab leaders to back Intifada
Morocco-Regional, Politics, 3/28/2002

The Moroccan Association for Support to the Palestinian People called Arab leaders to provide all forms of support to the Palestinian people so that they carry on their political, material and military resistance.

In a call to the Arab leaders participating in the 14th Arab Summit held in Beirut this March 27-28, the association said the summit decisions must match the challenges and sacrifices of the Palestinian people, and the aspirations of the Arab public opinion, mainly reaffirmation of firm attachment to the Palestinian people's right to the liberation of all their territories, the return of all Palestinian refugees and expatriates, the expulsion of settlers, the release of all the prisoners and detainees, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al Qods as a capital.

For the association, the "Zionist entity should be proclaimed a model of terrorism." The Arab summit was further urged to cut all kinds of relations with Israel, restore the boycott of Israel, and launch an international campaign to arrest Israeli leaders and try them for crimes against humanity.

The association also underlined the need to reject any potential attack against Iraq or any Arab state, revive and enforce the Arab agreement of common defense, and put an end to the Arab states' embargo against Iraq.
