Israeli government ratified appointing Yaaloun as Israeli chief of staff

In its Sunday's session, the Israeli government ratified the appointment of Maj. Gen. Moshe Yaaloun as a chief of staff of the Israeli army in succession of Shaoul Mofaz who recently resigned from his post.
The Israeli radio said that the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aliazer informed Yaaloun, about this decision by telephone and that Yaaloun will assume his new post of office on July 9th this year.
