Lebanese president confers with Saudi foreign minister

The Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on Sunday in Beirut received the Saudi foreign minister Saud al-Faisal in the presence of the Lebanese minister of foreign affairs and expatriates Mahmoud Hammoud. Following the meeting, al- Faisal expressed his hope that the Arab summit which will be held in Beirut this week will attain its set objectives.
He indicated that the Arab leaders will be briefed on the initiative of the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz when he will arrive in Beirut.
