UNICEF invites moroccan speaker to chair parliamentary meeting

Moroccan Speaker of the house of representatives, Abdelouahed Radi, was invited Thursday by the United Children Fund (UNICEF) to Chair a parliamentary meeting on Children issues, to be held next May in New York, in the framework of the World Child Summit.
Morocco's experience in the field of children care, and its cooperation with the UNICEF are a model to be followed by the world's parliamentarians, says the director of the UNICEF's bureau in Brussels, Ezio Gianni Munzi, who conveyed the invitation to Radi at a meeting on the sidelines of the 107th Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference held in Marrakesh.
Munzi expressed at the meeting esteem for Morocco's interest in children issues, and the excellent relation between the Kingdom and his organization.
Radi talked on Morocco's preparations to participate actively in the coming World Child Summit, and its different experiences especially the Child Parliament, chaired by Princess Lalla Meryem, a forum of meetings and exchanges and an opportunity for children to express their opinion and propose solutions.
