Two new novels by Saddam Hussein
Iraq, Local, 3/22/2002
The Iraqi dailies issued on Wednesday said that a new novel will be published in April that would be the third literary work for President Saddam Hussein, while a fourth novel will be issued later this year.
The Iraqi dailies added on its front pages that the writer of "novels for their writers" has completed two other novels since a long time and that one of the two novels will be in libraries and the markets in April.
However, the Iraqis who are concerned with cultural and literary affairs have held the same views that the two novels which were issued in the few past years, the first under the title "Zabiba and the King " and the second the "Steadfast edifice" are the literary production of President Saddam Hussein, despite the fact that they did not bear his real name, but the phrase "a novel for its writer."
The Iraqi dailies gave no mention to the name of the two new novels, and confined to saying that one of them will be available in the market and libraries later this year.
