All Jordanian dailies issued on Wednesday said that the Jordanian state security has arrested member of the Jordanian Ayan council (upper council ) Samih al-Bateikhi who is also former director of the Jordanian intelligence to investigate him concerning the ongoing Banking loan violation scandal. The papers said that after he was arrested on Tuesday al-Beteikhi and was interrogated and after hearing his statements he was held in custody for investigation in this case.

The Lebanese military court has sentenced Taqfiq al-Hindi, former advisor for the commander of the dissolved Lebanese Forces of three years imprisonment over dealing with Israel and also four year imprisonment to Antoine Bassel over contacting the Israeli enemy and the two of them were deprived of their "civil rights." The Lebanese military court also sentenced to death the two fleeing Lebanese Etyan Saqer and Ghassan Touma and an imprisonment sentence in absentia for 15 years on Muhammad Ajami for their dealing with Israel.
