Stressing Kuwait's freedom and independence, Izzat Ibrahim commends Saudi rejection of striking Iraq

Deputy chairman of the revolution's leadership council in Iraq Izzat Ibrahim has commended the Saudi position rejecting a possible American strike against Iraq. This was expressed in a statement to the Bahraini TV.
Ibrahim who visited Bahrain in the framework of a tout throughout the Gulf states concentrated on the American threats to strike Iraq, said " it is evident that the stand of Saudi Arabia will be to this level " and that Saudi Arabia has adopted a stand that suits her.
The Saudi King Fahd and crown prince Abdullah informed the US vice president that they refuse the American forces to use the territories of Saudi Arabia to strike Iraq and any Arab and Islamic state. Replying to a question concerning Iraq's position from Kuwait, Ibrahim said that Iraq is "for the security of Kuwait and Kuwait's freedom, stability and prosperity."
On the other hand, Ibrahim started a two day visit to Oman, his fourth leg in his Gulf tour which will concentrate on the American threats to strike Iraq, according to the Omani state- run news agency.
