Islamic world league to clarify position of Islam on human rights and freedoms

The Islamic world league in Mecca (Saudi Arabia) will hold the fourth general Islamic conference under the title the "Islamic nation and globalization" in Mecca on April 7th.

A statement issued in Mecca on Monday said that the conference will work to clarify the position of Islam regarding debated issues on the international arena and most of important of it is terrorism, peace and war, human rights and its freedoms, the dialogue of civilizations and coexistence among culture.

The conference will also discuss "Islam's position towards issues relating to the security of the Islamic countries, the challenges of globalization, terrorism and hostile campaigns launched against Muslims and Islam, inter Islamic solidarity and the unity of Islam and the Islamic media in the age of Globalization."
