Jews of Argentina, France gave up migration to Israel, Prague squares crowded with fleeing settlers

Large number of the Jews in Argentina and France canceled requests they filed to be brought to Israel to settle in it.

The Israeli radio said that some 10 thousand Jews from both countries canceled their requests to this effect and expressed their strong concern because of the continued escalations between the Palestinians and the Israeli army.

The radio quoted a source at the Jewish agency responsible for transporting Jews to the occupied Arab territories that the number of migration seekers from the world Jews to Israel recorded great decrease in 2002 because of the loss of security and the deteriorated economic conditions.

The spokeswoman for the Czech embassy in Tel Aviv Ivata Rontova said that hundreds of Israelis applied at the Czech embassy to get a Czech nationality.

Observers indicated the report issued by the Israeli daily Haartez several days ago when it said that the desire of the Israelis to get the Czech nationality is because of their feeling of a lost security and the state of economic recession in Israel.

Similarly, the British news network BBC said on Monday that Israel's streets have become empty and the restaurants and cafes only have their working staff, noting that every Israeli fears lose of his life at any moment at the hand of the Palestinian Intifada youths.
