Peres welcomes the Saudi initiative

The Israeli radio said on Monday that the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres said that Israel has welcomed the Saudi initiative and that negotiations should be made on the content of this initiative.
Peres's statements came during his meeting on Monday with members of the Jewish- American council currently visiting Israel.
