UAE President confers with Cheney
United Arab Emirates-USA, Politics, 3/18/2002
President of the United Arab Emirates UAE Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan on Saturday in Abu Dhabi discussed with the US Vice President Dick Cheney the stumbled Middle East peace process and current developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, besides the current conditions in the region and joint cooperation relations between the UAE and the USA.
Cheney arrived in Abu Dhabi earlier in the day in a short visit in the framework of his current tour on several countries of the region.
