Mubarak receives Iraqi official

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received on Thursday Iraqi Vice Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council, Ezzat Ibrahim and Foreign Minister Nagui Sabri.
Attending the meeting were Prime Minister Atef Ebeid, Presidential Political Advisor Osama El-Baz, Iraq's chief delegate to the Arab League Mohsen Khalil and Iraqi Charge d'Affaires in Cairo Hammam Hashim El-Alousi.
The President listened to the Iraqi stance on US threats to strike Iraq.
It is noted that Mubarak announced in the press conference he held with US Vice-President Dick Cheney Wednesday evening that he would meet two envoys of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to convince Iraq to accept the return of UN inspectors.
