Turkey: we share Syria a joint desire to develop friendship, cooperation ties

The Turkish minister of housing and construction Abdul Qader al-Jaan has stressed that the Syrian and the Turkish leaderships have the joint desire to develop relations and strengthen ties of neighborhood and fraternity between the Syrian and Turkish peoples.
In an exclusive statement to SANA's correspondent in Ankara, the Turkish minister indicated the historical, geographical, cultural and religious ties having Syria and Turkey together, noting that Syrian- Turkish relations are deeply rooted in history.
The Turkish minister also stressed the need of planning between the two countries. He praised the decision taken to found the Syrian- Turkish parliamentary friendship committee to develop bilateral co-operation and encouraging governments and businessmen to establish a fruitful bilateral co-operation.
The Turkish minister also stressed that the current visit by the Syrian minister of construction Husam al-Aswad to Turkey falls in the course of the joint desire of the two countries to foster bilateral cooperation that will cover all fields and areas for the benefits of the two peoples and countries.
