Qatar's second conference for democracy on March 26

Qatar's second conference for democracy and free trade will be held on march 26 to 29 at Ritz Carlton. It is organized by the Gulf studies center at Qatar university in collaboration with the foreign ministry in Qatar.
The conference will discuss several issues and work papers on the future of democracy in the Arab states and the reflections of world, political, economic and trade changes regionally and internationally in light of September 11 incidents in the US.
The conference will be attended by several Arab and Western Islamic, Arab, and western parliamentary figures, and members of the US Congress.
However, the first conference was held in Doha in 2001. It was inaugurated by the Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani.
