US ambassador commends Saudi Arabia's peace ideas

US ambassador in Cairo David Welch described the Saudi Arabian thoughts concerning the realization of peace in the region as positive and good in seeking to find out a just solution to the Palestinian question.
In statements he made following his meeting with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa on Tuesday, the US ambassador explained that the US President George Bush views with great interest the discussions which are being held in the region at the meantime, He indicated that he had discussed with Moussa results of the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers and matters to be debated at the next Arab summit in Beirut.
