Israeli warplanes violate the Lebanese airspace
Lebanon-Israel, Military, 3/13/2002
The Israeli warplanes on Tuesday renewed their aggressions at the eastern sector of South Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli forces positioned in the occupied Shebaa farms bombarded by 20 shells of 155 mm caliber the outskirts of Shebaa and Kafer Souba and the shells fell on Tellat al-Saddaneh, Burket Jabbour in the outskirts of Shebaa and al-Ghajar village.
The Israeli bombardment coincided with mopping in operations by machine guns at the hills and valleys surrounding the Israeli position in Rweisat al-Alam.
In several sorties, the Israeli warplanes violated the Lebanese airspace and flew at intermediate altitude over the areas of south Lebanon.
