Makadishu: two persons were killed in an attack at a house of minister

Officials in Makadishu said on Monday that two passers by in the Somali capital Makadishu were killed when armed men attacked the house of the minister of the interior in the Somali provisional government.

The Somali minister of the interior Zaher Sheikh Muhammad was not at his house when the attack took place on Sunday evening, following the attack at the house of the prime minister in February.

Somali government officials said that the attack at the house of Zaher was schemed by one of his relatives in revenge for one militia members who claimed to be killed at the hands of Zaher's supporters by the end of 2001.
