Kuwaiti source denies reports on timing to striking Iraq

An official source at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry refuted news reports issued by the Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa issued on Monday that the Kuwaiti foreign minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad informed the chairman of the Kuwaiti al-Ummah council ( parliament) Jasem al-Khurafi that the decision to strike Iraq will be taken within weeks rather than months.
The source regretted the publications of baseless and unreliable news, stressing that "the discussions held between Sheikh Sabah and al-Khurafi were just an attempt to ease down conditions among the various political sides under the conditions prevailing in the region and the acts of extermination conducted against the Palestinians."
