Sudanese president opens Sudan's international Forum for Investment

The Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Monday in Khartoum opened Sudan's international gathering for investment which will last for two days with the participation of more than 200 delegations and business men from Arab, African and European countries.
During the gathering some 20 strategic projects in the industrial areas in Sudan will be proposed, besides 14 projects in the area of livestock, 7 electricity projects, 4 in the field of tourism and 8 in roads and bridges construction.
Activities of the gathering will concentrate on explaining the status of the Sudanese economy and trends of reforms, change and investment opportunities and climate in this country, prospects of investment in industry, agriculture and livestock as well as the sectors of oil, gas and electricity.
