Ebeid discusses Japan's contribution to promotion of Egyptian exports

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid received the Head of Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO).

Youssif Botros Ghali Minister of Foreign Trade said Ebeid stressed the export importance for Egypt in this current stage, adding that efforts are exerted to develop Egyptian exports. "Egypt welcomes cooperation with JETRO in this respect," he said.

The meeting dealt with JETRO's contribution to training Egyptians from both the government and private sectors to play their role in upping Egyptian exports, said Ghali.

He added that next September will see inauguration of an institution set up in Egypt in tandem with JETRO, which is working in the field of training.

The foreign trade minister said talks covered means to establish a firm in Egypt to provide training courses in all fields of export.
