Egyptian-Chinese business council considers setting up new 12 projects

Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Khaled Abu-Ismail said yesterday the Egyptian-Chinese Business Council will meet on March 18 to consider preparations for the coming visit due to be paid by Chinese Prime Minister to Egypt to activate bilateral trade agreements concluded during President Mubarak's recent visit to China.
Abu-Ismail added that the visiting delegation will group 42 businessmen who will hold talks with their Egyptian counterparts on setting up new 12 projects in producing diesel engines, painting oils, car spare parts and waste recycling plant in Beni-Swif.
He pointed out the Council will probe executive measures concerning the 19 previously agreed upon agreements on certain projects.
The visiting delegation will meet with Ministers of Foreign Trade and Supply. Premier Atef Ebeid will inaugurate the Council's meeting.
The Chinese Businessmen will visit some projects in Suez and also tour Luxor and Aswan.
