French city of Lyon hosts Morocco festival

French city of Lyon hosts a one-week Morocco festival March 8-17.

During this economic event, Lyon inhabitants and visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Morocco's multi-faceted civilization, economic assets, and tourism potential.

A dozen typical Moroccan tents are set up where visitors can see craftsmen at work.

Moroccan minister of social economy, small and middle-sized enterprises (SME) and handicraft, Ahmed Lahlimi, arrived Thursday in Lyon to dedicate the one-week Festival.

Lahlimi will confer with several officials and economic operators on ways to bolster exchange between Morocco and France in general and between the two countries' SME in particular.

"Improving the exchanges between the two countries' SMEs is a priority, The minister said upon arrival.
