A Jewish billionaire and the Saudi initiative

The Israeli daily Maarve disclosed Thursday that a Jewish billionaire called Bani Ele Abrams is currently mediating between Israel and Saudi Arabia concerning the peace initiative launched by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
The Israeli radio quoted the paper as saying that Abrams who presides over an institute to promote peace in the Middle East on Wednesday met with the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and conveyed to him other details about the Saudi initiative.
Abrams arrived in Jerusalem from Riyadh where he had met with the Saudi crown prince and several Saudi officials. Abrams is also scheduled to meet with the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres and also on Wednesday met with several Palestinian officials.
The Israeli paper indicated that the Israeli minister of defense Benjamin Bin Aliazer has, for his part, shown interest in the Saudi initiative and conveyed messages in this regard to Riyadh through security sides.
High ranking Israeli sources said that the Saudis are intending to formulate details of this initiative in order to submit it to the American administration which will study it for giving it, a push forward.
