Qatar's fm to meet tomorrow with Arafat in Ramullah

The Qatari space TV station al-Jazeera on Thursday quoted well-informed sources as saying that the Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem all-Thani will be meeting on tomorrow with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat in order to discuss current developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Qatari minister will take part in the meeting of the Arab move and follow up committee due to be held in Cairo on Saturday in order to discuss the initiative announced by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and provided for Israel's withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories until June 4, 1067 border line for normalization of relations with the Israel.
The Palestinian minister of planning and international cooperation Nabil Shaath sad that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Mousa extended an invitation to the Qatari foreign minister despite the fact that Qatar is not a member at the Arab follow up committee which is composed of ten Arab states. Shaath who visited Doha on Wednesday said that a tripartite meeting will be held today Friday in Cairo in order to formulate a written text for the Saudi initiative for the first time.
The today's tripartite meeting will be attended by Nabil Shaath, the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal, besides the Arab League chief Amr Moussa. The text which will be prepared by the tripartite meeting will be debated to the Arab follow up committee tomorrow, in preparation to submit it to the coming Arab summit to be held in Beirut on March 27 and 28.
Shaath ruled out that Arafat will be attending the Arab summit due to the Israeli siege imposed on him.
