On Saudi prisoners in the USA
Saudi Arabia-USA, Local, 3/8/2002

The Saudi ambassador in Washington prince Bander Bin Sultan has revealed that the American authorities have released a large number of Saudi citizens who are detained there, noting that so far only 11 Saudis are still held in the US.

In a statement quoted by the Saudi news agency, the ambassador said that the American authorities released 25 Saudis after the end of their trial, stressing that the case concerning the released detainees and prisoners was their violation of the regulations of immigration, traffic and residency laws.
