Mubarak was urged to visit Jerusalem

The Israeli radio said on Thursday that member of the US congressman Tom Lantos met in Washington with the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for three times and urged him to visit Jerusalem in order to discuss with the Israeli officials the Saudi peace initiative.
Congressman Lantos said that the Egyptian President sees this idea as good and he will study it thoroughly, adding that he proposed to the Egyptian President his nomination to win the Noble peace Prize in case he agrees to go to Jerusalem and explain the Saudi initiative to the Israeli officials.
