Israel's brutality seems to know no bound
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 3/7/2002

Israel, an occupying power, pactices assassination of Palestinians, and having run out of main targets in its destruction of the Palestinian civil institutions has embarked on the destruction of residential property in its latest aggressions against the Palestinians.

Commenting on this Israeli "policy," US Secretary of State Colin Powell said "Prime Minister Sharon has to take a hard look at his policies to see whether they will work. If you declare war against the Palestinians thinking that you can solve the problem by seeing how many Palestinians can be killed, I don't know that that leads us anywhere."

Apparently not satisfied with this level of aggression Israel is practicing against the occupied Palestinians, some Israeli ministers want even greater oppression against the Palestinians. The UK daily The Independent today quoted a Yediot Ahronot report confirming that Israel's infrastructure minister Avigdor Lieberman suggests an ultimatum to Arafat to stop the violence or "At 8am we'll bomb all the commercial centers... at noon we'll bomb their gas stations... at two we'll bomb their banks," to which Israel's Foreign minister Sharon Peres said: "And at 6pm you'll receive an invitation to the international tribunal in The Hague," indicating they would be prosecuted as war criminals.
