Premier Youssoufi flies to Libya for regional grouping meet

Moroccan Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi, left Dakhla (southern Morocco) on Tuesday for Libya where he will represent King Mohammed VI in the 4th session of the Cen-Sad grouping, held Wednesday and Thursday, in Syrthe.

Youssoufi will read out during the meeting a message by King Mohammed VI to the Union, which musters 16 countries.

Foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa, is part of the delegation accompanying Youssoufi.

Morocco joined the group, formerly known as COMESSA, at its third session, held in Khartoum, Sudan, last year.

It was established in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, in February 1998 for the promotion of peace and stability as well as for rural, social and economic development of the whole region.
