Meeting of the Egyptian - Tunisian higher committee

The Tunisian prime minister Muhammad al-Ghanoushe will arrive in Cairo next Tuesday on top of a delegation to take part in the meetings of the Egyptian - Tunisian joint higher committee which will be held under the chairmanship of the two countries prime ministers.

In a statement to the Egyptian daily al-Ahram, the Tunisian ambassador in Cairo Salah Eddine al-Jamali said that the committee will discuss during its three- day deliberations bilateral relations and future prospects of relations between the two states.

He added that the committee will define the executive programs of the agreements signed between the two countries in the economic, industrial and technological fields.

He indicated that the Tunisian delegation will include each of the minister of state for foreign affairs Youssef al-Muqaddim, Munsif Abdullah the minister of industry and Taher Dayouf the minister of commerce.

Worthy mentioning that the higher committee met in Tunisia in 2001 and then 12 executive protocols and agreements as well as cooperation programs were signed in all fields. The committee also called for supporting joint investments between the two states.
