Libyan president confers with al-Sadeq al-Mahdi

Libyan President Muaammar al-Qaddafi on Tuesday in Sert received the chairman of the Sudanese al-Ummah party al-Sadeq al-Mahdi and members of the accompanying delegation currently visiting Libya.
Discussions dealt with Sudanese conditions and debated solutions to establish peace and the return back of stability to Sudan in the context of its territorial integrity.
Worthy mentioning that the executive council of the coalition of the Sahel-Sahara Union states had embarked on a united position concerning peace in Sudan. This position is based on committing to Sudan's unity and territorial integrity, supporting the Libyan- Egyptian initiative on Sudan which is open to all other initiatives seeking peace for Sudan besides appealing immediate cease fire in Sudan.
