Al-Bashir arrives in Libya to take part in coast-, desert states coalition summit

Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and members of the accompanying delegation arrived on Tuesday in Sert, Libya in a visit in which he will take part in the fourth summit of the Sahel-Sahara Union due to start Wednesday in Sert.
In an arrival statement the Sudanese president said that this coalition has proved itself in reality through attaining security and stability in several of its member states especially in central Africa which is considered as the best example for the success of this coalition.
The Sudanese president also stressed the role played by the coalition to building the African unity, noting important decisions to be concluded by this summit concerning the establishments of the African federation and attaining development for the people of the African continent.
