French official calls for a European role in ME

The "Intermediate " candidate for the French Presidency and member of the European parliament Francois Bayro on Monday called for a role to be played by Europe and France in the Middle East.
Bayro, who is also the chairman of the federation for democracy in France told the AFP before he had started a series of meetings at the Israeli Knesset that it is the duty of any official in France and Europe to have interests in what is taking place here ( in the ME) and to take part in settling this catastrophe, SANA reported.
