The shoura council of the Muslim brothers group in Jordan on Friday elected members of its executive bureau. The media office of the Muslim brothers group said in a statement that Abdul Majid al-Zuneibat was elected as an observer general and Humam Saeed as a deputy for the observer general, and Ahmad al-Kafahi, Ahmad al-Kaffarin, Abdul Hameed al-Qudah and Yahya Shaqra as members. The chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat on Sunday evening in Ramullah held a meeting with several heads of the Palestinian resistance movement Fatah in the West bank. The Israeli radio quoted one of the participants in the meeting as saying that Arafat expressed his strong rejection to carrying out operations inside Israel. Go

The talks held last Saturday between the Algerian side led by the minister for foreign affairs Abdul Aziz Balkhadem and the Czech foreign minister led by the deputy premier and foreign minister Yan Kavan dealt with bilateral relations, current international issues especially the situation in the Middle East as well as other issues relating to the fighting of terrorism.
