Israel kills 16 Palestinians, 6 from one family

Amid escalated Israeli threats, the Israeli forces on Monday continued repressive operations against the Palestinians and as a result 16 Palestinians were shot in clashes and confrontation which covered most areas in the West Bank and Gaza. News reports described the incidents taking place in the Palestinian territories as a real war of extermination against the Palestinians.

Since the early hours of Monday, the Israeli tanks and planes carried out attacks against the Palestinians villages and cities and positions for the Palestinian authority. He israeli shells and missiles destroyed tens of houses in Rafah, Gaza, Ramullah, Nablus, Jenin, Toulkarem, Qalqilya, al-Khali, Tammoun and al-Am'ari camp.

Fighting erupted between the two sides during which 6 persons were killed from one family of Hussein Abu Kweik, member of the Hamas movement and Amjad Fakhouri the officials in al-Aqsa group in Jenin and Imad Aby Baker, and Naem Sabbagh from Jenin and also the doctor of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Jenin Khalil Suleiman and three in Nablus whose names were not known and also three in Rafah whose names were not also known.

The reports said that the Israeli forces carried out a revenge operation by bombarding and blowing off tens of houses and headquarters for the Palestinian authority and prevented rescue operations of wounded and number of destroyed houses just in Balata camp tolled 130 and the breaking in operations coupled by a vast campaign of arrest targeted tens of Palestinian youths.

News reports said that the Palestinians challenged the invading Israeli tanks and they used explosives to force them to retreat and that several casualties were inflected among the Israelis.

The Palestinians retaliated by blowing off explosives in the Israeli forces near al-Khuder village to the south of Bethlehem. Two Palestinians broke in, in their truck into the Ben Gureon airport near Tel Aviv and the Israeli forces gave no mention about this operation. Explosives were also detonated in Israeli patrols in Jenin. A Palestinian youth ( whose identity was not known) killed an Israeli police man in al-Lid, while Palestinians opened fire at the Israeli positions near the two Israeli settlements of Jadid and Natsareim and hit two tanks directly.

The al-Aqsa martyrs groups, on the other hand, shot what they described as the "Palestinian hireling for Israel" Zaher Turabi in Nablus ,and Hamas vowed to revenge the for "killed Palestinians." The secretary of the Fatah movement Marwan al-Barghouthi said there is no alternative but to continue resistance in retaliation of the Zionist terrorism."

The Israeli general commander of the Ofrat settlement Amny Eitan where nine Israeli soldiers were shot on Sunday admitted that it is impossible to take measures preventing the Palestinian resistance men from surprising the Israeli military check points.

In the same context, while the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres warned against that the policy of military attacks against the Palestinians will lead to trying the Israeli officials at the International Court of Justice as war criminals, the Israeli infrastructure minister Ivigdore Lieberman answered Peres's warning saying "I do not care, I am not concerned what the International Court of Justice says, What is important for Israel is to kill more Palestinians and forcing them to evacuate."
