Football: Iran Wins L.G. Cup, Algeria second, Morocco third

Iran on Sunday won the L.G. Cup after a win on penalty kicks over Algeria.The Iranians, winners of the previous edition, tied with the Algerians over 120 minutes of play, before bagging the trophy after the decisive kicks 9-8. The Moroccans defeated Venezuela 2-0 to rank third in the friendly tournament, sponsored by the Koran group.
