Saudi Arabia boycotts a company over selling products of Israeli origin to the Arab states
Saudi Arabia-Israel, Economics, 3/4/2002
The Saudi minister of trade Osama Bin Jaafar al-Faqeh has issued a decision banning dealing with the Cypriot company "VitaJreika limited" over exporting commodities of Israeli origin to the Arab states.
The decision said that the Saudi measure comes in line with the notification made by the commissioner general of the main office for boycotting Israel, which indicates the Cypriot's company's violation of the boycott measures.
The decision is also made according to a Royal decree on drawing necessary controls to prevent the entry of the Israeli commodities and products to the markets of Saudi Arabia.
Worthy mentioning that by the end of 2001, the Arab states have started tightening the Arab boycott of Israel.
