20 million Syrian pounds in donations to the Palestinians in Jenin, Balata camps

The chairman of the Syrian people's committee in support of the Palestinian Intifada Ahmad Abdul Karim on Sunday handed over the director of UNRWA in Damascus Mrs. Angela Williams a check of 20 million Syrian pounds granted by the Syrian people to the Palestinians in Jenin and Balata for the Palestinian refugees.
Mrs. Williams promised to hand this Syrian grant to the Palestinians as soon as possible in line with UNRWA's objectives and the regulations of the UN. She commented that the Syrian donation is the first very quick response from the Syrian people to the Palestinians.
