Some 12 Israeli settlers, soldiers killed in two Palestinian attacks, 6 Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces

Israeli military sources admitted the killing of 21 Israelis since Saturday, 12 of them were killed on Sunday, including 9 soldiers in two operations carried out near Katsovim and Ofra settlements while other 14 were wounded including one army officer.

At least nine Israeli were killed and other 50 wounded in a Palestinian suicide bombing in an ultra- Orthodox Israeli neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel said.

The Israeli army radio added citing police reports said that the nine Israeli dead included the attacker. Al-Aqsa martyrs groups, the military wing of the Fatah Movement claimed responsibility for the bombardment. And reports said that the executor of the operation is called Muhammad Daraghem al-Shou'ani from al-Dheishah camp.

Clashes between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces extended to cover villages, cities and camps of the West Bank and Gaza which were exposed to air bombardment by the Israeli war plane and Apache, especially Bethlehem, Beit Jala, Beit Sahour, Ramullah and al-Beera.

The Israeli tanks incurred into the depth of the Palestinian territories in Eisan town into the south of Gaza and in Jenin of the West Bank and al-Qarrara area situated to the East of Khan Younis where the Israeli forces destroyed several Palestinian houses and controlled many other. This resulted in wounding several Palestinians as a result of the bombardment and the heroic confrontation by the Palestinians to the Israeli incursions in these areas.

Two Palestinians were shot on Sunday in Qalqilya where the Israeli tanks were incurred. They were Khaled Sawalha and Islam Shawahnah while many others were wounded.

Another Palestinian was killed by the shells of the Israeli tanks which targeted Selfeit town to the north of Nablus, while other seven were wounded as a result of the bombardment. One is in a critical health condition.

In Ramullah which underwent to the Israeli bombardment, the Palestinian Amer Zaki ( 21 year old) was shot and other 18 Palestinians were wounded and several houses were destroyed besides headquarters for the Palestinian authority and its security centers.

At Balatah camp two Palestinians died because of their wounds they had on Thursday upon the Israeli forces breaking into the said camp.

In retaliation to the Israeli aggression the Palestinian Intifada youth detonated an explosive in a military car for the Israeli army near Sanou camp in Jenin. Meantime, the operation in which Palestinian Intifada youths attacked an Israeli check point near Hofra settlement to the north of Ramullah on Sunday morning resulted in killed 10 Israelis including 7 soldiers and wounding five other including one army officer.

The Palestinian Intifada youths also attacked an Israeli armored vehicle in its way to Katsovim settlement and this resulted in killing two soldiers and wounding other four.

The Palestinian national resistance movement al-Jihad al-Islami and al-Aqsa martyrs group claimed responsibility for the attack at the Israeli check point in Katsovim crossing while Saraya al- Quds, the military wing of the Ilamic Jihad in occupied Palestine and al-Aqsa martyrs groups announced in a joint statement their responsibility for this operation.

The Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Mofaz held an inspection visit to the targeted Israeli military barrier while the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon called for an urgent meeting to discuss the escalation of the Palestinian resistance operations.

The Israeli radio quoted Sharon as threatening the Palestinians at the beginning of the Israeli cabinet weekly session which was held on Sunday to continue attacking them and that these threats will be crystallized today ( Monday) evening in a meeting for the said ministerial team.

Moreover, the Israeli authorities continued its oppressive measures against the Palestinians cities and villages and also the Israeli artillery and pushed on more tanks especially to the surrounding of occupied Jerusalem and to the north of occupied Palestine in al-Khudeira, al-Afola and Wadi Ara along the line separating al-Muthalith area and to the north of the west bank.

The spokesman for the Israeli army said the Israeli forces were redeployed in the surrounding of Balata camp a situation which confirm that the Israeli army will continue its operations against the Palestinians in the surrounding of the camp and also in Jenin camp which is cordoned by the Israeli tanks.
