Electricity equipment exhibition in Baghdad
Iraq, Economics, 3/4/2002

An exhibition for the technologies of electricity, generation, transport and distribution will be opened today in Baghdad with the participation of 60 companies representing some 19 Arab and foreign countries.

A source at the electricity directorate in Iraq said that the exhibition which will last for three days and be held at the headquarters of the Baghdad International Fair. It will be organized with the participation of companies from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition which is the first of its kind, will be also attended by specialized companies from Russia, Ukraine, Belaruss, Iran, Turkey, Austria, Finland, Germany, France, Denmark, China, Pakistan and India. This exhibition will be dedicated to display the products of these companies in the sector of electricity.
