Mediterranean enterprises create union

Heads of enterprises from 12 Mediterranean countries met in Istanbul on Monday and Tuesday and decided to set up a union, to be based in Tunisia, and chaired by head of the Moroccan enterprises confederation (CGEM), Hassan Chami.
The head of the Moroccan CGEM was unanimously elected chairman of the new union. He said that the goal of this new body is to materialize the south Mediterranean economic operators to actively consolidate their cooperation and undertake concrete actions to promote economic and social development in the region.
