Morocco's El Aynaoui cruises to semi finals of Dubai tournament
United Arab Emirates-Morocco, Sports, 3/2/2002

Morocco's tennis player Younes El Aynaoui cruised on Friday to the semi-finals of the Dubai tennis tournament, after beating German Rainer Schuttler in two sets to one.

El Aynaoui who had beat at the previous round of the ATP tour, worth one million dollars, first seed and title holder Carlos Ferrero of Spain will be playing this Saturday third seed Thomas Johansson.

El Aynaoui, who ranks 9th at the world ranking, ambitions another title in an Arab country after his triumph in Qatar, last January.

Against Johansson, it will be a revenge match because he ousted me at the third round of the Australia open, said El Aynaoui.

The other semi final will be between French Fabrice Santoro and Czech Jiri Novak.
