EU concern over UN bombing in Sudan

The European Union EU on Friday asked the Sudanese governments for explanations following the Sudanese army bombardment of a center for the UN food program distribution center which resulted in killing 17 persons on February 20.
News reports said that the European Union which is presided currently by Spain also called in a statement on the Sudanese government to honor its agreements with the UN. Agreements which relate to humanitarian operations.
The statement said that the EU 15 members states express their concern on the reflections that might be resulted from the recent air bombardment on the possibility of reaching peace between the government and the southern Sudan rebellions in the people's army for the liberation of Sudan.
