Italian Cable Factory Inaugurated in Settat

An Italian steel cable factory was inaugurated in Settat Wednesday, by visiting Italian minister in charge of foreign trade, Adolfo Urso.
The "REMER" factory located in the industrial zone of Settat, was launched in October 2000. It produces 2000 tons of cable and employs about 30 persons.
Some ten Italian enterprises settled in the industrial zone of Settat operate in the fields of electricity and electronics, chemistry and para-chemistry, and mechanic and metallurgical industries.
