Lebanon continues curbing Opium fields

The Lebanese joint forces which are composed of the drug- fighting office continued its campaign to curb and eliminate drugs and Opium plantations for the third running day.
A team composed of four officers from the drug- fighting office in Cyprus, from the US, France, Australia and Saudi Arabia were acquainted with the drugs curbing process.
The Lebanese Maj. Gen. Sameer Subuh, the commander of the judicial police said that 1500 dunnums of lands were cultivated with drugs and that the drug fighting operation will continue until this cultivation is ultimately eliminated in Lebanon.
