In a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said that its air defense unit intercepted the Israeli warplanes.
On the other hand, the Lebanese army was handed on Thursday a Logistic position in Tyre city from the UNIFIL ( UN Interim forces working in south Lebanon ).
UN forces said that this position was converted into an office for the team of the United Arab Emirates UAE specialized to dismantling the Israeli landmines implanted in south Lebanon.
Earlier by the beginning of February, the Lebanese minister of defense Khalil al-Hrawi and UNIFIL commander Mohan Lalit signed an agreement to hand over the said position to the Lebanese side.
