Ugandan army chases rebels of al-Rabb army inside Sudan

An Ugandan official has announced that Ugandan soldiers entered into the Sudanese territories on Wednesday to chase the rebels who killed two persons and kidnapped 150 persons in a raid at a town to the north of Uganda.

A spokesman for the Ugandan army said the Ugandan soldiers (whose number totaled 700) who entered into Sudan last Sunday were able of liberate 80 persons and killed one rebellion at least from al-Rabb ( God) army forces.

The spokesman said that some 300 of al-Rabb army, raided last Saturday at Agouro town on the Ugandan- Sudanese borders in the first raid since one year. The spokesman added that the rebels fled into the Sudanese territories and this pushed the Ugandan army to cross the border to chase them.
